"I enjoyed 'Dancing for Oliver'...it should appeal to people interested in dance, music videos...and the filmmaking process itself...Overall, it's good fun." Oliver Stone
Director Suzanne Gielgud’s ‘Dancing For Oliver’ takes an in-depth look at the creation of the dance scene from Oliver Stone’s ‘Alexander,’ otherwise known as "Bagoas Dance". An exclusive, intimate interview with Oliver Stone reveals a vulnerable side to his often-reported controversial nature. Featuring contributions from the composer Vangelis, choreographer Piers Gielgud and the renowned ballet dancer Francisco Bosch combined with behind the scenes footage of the dance rehearsals, this film is essential viewing.
Suzanne Gielgud is a Director of Re.Animator Management and lives in Sussex with her husband Piers Gielgud. Suzanne was formerly a professional ballet dancer (The Royal Ballet School and London Studio Centre) and actress (Richmond Drama School and Academy of Live
and Recorded Arts) before studying film during 2003-2004.
