Since its emergence in New York City in the late '70s, Hip Hop has become a lucrative commercial industry, and Some 25 years after its birth, the genre has become a $5 billion industry. This musical genre with it’s four hip-hop elements (Graffiti Art, DJ-ing, MCing, and B-Boy-ing) dreamed up on the streets of New York has become one of the planet's most powerful and enthusiastically embraced forces of globalisation. Legends of rap and hip-hop like Grandmaster Flash, Treacherous Three, Rock Stready crew as well as contemporary hit-makers like Jay-Z and Eminem have helped it become the dominant youth culture of today.

As part of this years current sweep across the UK and Europe of Hip Hop influenced films “IN THE CIRCLE" , “PLANET B BOY", “STEP UP 2" and HOW SHE MOVE". Broadcaster Ellen Brandvold & Dance Launch 8 will be supporting the direct costs of production of a trio of 30-minute Hip Hop film projects in 2008/2009. TCOSAMG is open to animation, music videos, documentaries and shorts with an international focus, in which storytellers bring their Hip Hop ideas, experiences and cultures to new audiences."

Hip Hop means the whole culture of the movement.. when you talk about rap..Rap is part of the hip hop culture. The emceeing.The djaying is part of the hip hop culture. The dressing the languages are all part of the hip hop culture. The break dancing the b-boys, b-girls ..how you act, walk, look, talk are all part of hip hop culture.. and the music is colourless.. Hip Hop music is made from Black, brown, yellow, red, white.. whatever music that gives you the grunt. that funk. that groove or that beat.. It's all part of hip hop.

1 Page summary of Director or Producer film /video experience / credits
1 Page Partners / Crew Members experience
1-3 pages Supporting Material (i.e Storyboards, photos etc)
